Group enjoys Six Flags visit
Chance & Scyrene

Gail Marshall
Chance Outreach Programs, Inc. sponsored a trip to Six Flags Over Georgia on Saturday, June 23. This trip was primarily a reward for all of the hard work that the students who participated in the tutoring program accomplished. A chartered bus left from Chance around 5 a.m. that morning. After stopping for breakfast in Auburn, it was only a short time later when we arrived at Six Flags. Everyone had a very good time, even though the weather was extremely hot that day in Atlanta.

Some of the participants opted to enjoy cooler fun at the water park side of Six Flags. It finally dawned on me that I am getting older when I realized that I had lost all desire to get on any rides or even walk around. Me and Maxine Welch decided to find air conditioned restaurants and take advantage of that.
