Edd Jackson Jr., 80, of Rockville died July 19, 2007 at his residence.

He was born May 15, 1927. He was a retiree of Boise after 27 years.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Lou Moore Jackson, Rockville; seven sons, Freddy (Katherine) Jackson, Pascagoula, Miss., Rev. Robert (Bobbie) Jackson, Choctaw Bluff, David (Deloris) Jackson, Eric (Terri) Jackson, Rev. Kevin (Sherri) Jackson, all of Jackson, Johnny (Cassie) Jackson, Detroit, Mich., Kenneth Jackson, Cleveland, Ohio; four daughters, Brenda (Kirt) Norwood, St. Stephens, Cynthia Faye Jackson, Rockville, Sandra (Evan) Wiggins, Leroy, Amie (Bernard) Gibson, Grand Bay; three brothers, John (Geraldine) Jackson, Chicago, Ill., Henry (Rachel) Jackson, Salitpa, Fred Jackson, Cape Charles, Va.; five sisters, Rosie (Arthur) Dillworth, Hollywood, Fla., Alice (Joe) Sims, Orlando, Fla., Audrey (Arthur) Wilson, Shreveport, La., Annie (Joe) Smith, Adline Edward, Cape Charles, Va.; 34 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

The service was July 22 at Mt. Olive No. 1 Baptist Church in Rockville with Rev. Kevin Jackson, officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olive No. 1 Baptist Church Cemetery. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
