Singleton

George Buster Singleton, 79, of Monroeville died July 19, 2007 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home.

He was born Dec. 14, 1927. He was a native of Marengo County. He was a member of Monroeville First Baptist Church. He was a

retired warrant officer of the United

States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Jean Singleton, Monroeville; three sons, George Buster (Linda) Singleton Jr., Oak Ridge, Tenn., Billy Jack (Sylvia) Singleton, Clanton, Bart (Melissa) Singleton, Birmingham; one brother, Willard Coleman Singleton, Central Point, Oregon; one sister, Azilee Etheridge, Mobile; seven grandchildren.

The service was July 22 at 3 p.m. at the Monroeville First Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Burial was in the Pineville Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home directed.
