Courthouse security
      Monday was a routine docket call day for Clarke County Circuit Court. Judges Tom Baxter and Stuart DuBose heard cases in their new courtrooms of the new courthouse annex. For the first time ever, three Clarke County judges were able to hold court in separate courtrooms at the same time.

     Here's one of the photos that didn't make it into the Old Photo Contest issue. Walter Davis of Jackson submitted this one of Navy Seaman Horace Y. Bolen and others made in Jackson in the early 1940s. Bolen was about 38-years-old when he joined the Navy and served in World War II.
