Drinkard Ernestine Hasty Drinkard, 95, of Thomasville died July 24, 2007 at Montrose Bay Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 25, 1911 in Marengo County. She was a member of the Thomasville United Methodist Church. She was a bookkeeper. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn (Phillip) Sankey; two grandchildren, Sharon Sankey, Matthew (Leslie), Sankey; three great-grandchildren. A graveside service was July 26 at 11 a.m. in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville with Rev. Philip Craddock officiating. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
