Sheffield

Henry Bernie Sheffield, 71, of Thomasville died July 23, 2007 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 8, 1935 in Fulton. He

was a proud Marine

Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Sheffield, Thomasville; two sons, Henry Bernie Sheffield Jr., Headland, Rodney Miles Sheffield, Thomasville; two daughters, Charlotte Smith, Mobile, Carol Lopez, Tuscaloosa; one sister, Alyce Rutledge, Thomasville; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

A graveside service was held July 25 at 2 p.m. in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
