Area Church Announcements ITCC pastor's first year Inspirational Tabernacle Church of God in Christ located at 1171 Industrial Road in Jackson will celebrate its pastor's first year anniversary, Evangelist Beverly Jackson. The anniversary will continue Thursday, (tonight), Aug. 9 and will end Friday, Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The anniversary will end Sunday, Aug. 12 at 5 p.m. The special guest Thursday will be Rev. Clayton Davis, pastor of Good Hope Baptist Church and Friday, Rev. Marcus Kelley, pastor of Word of Truth Fellowship Church and Sunday, Prophet Charles Buchanan of Mobile, pastor of Showers of Blessings Church of God in Christ. Mother Carrie Alston and Sis. Ulcanush continues revival Ulcanush Baptist Church will continue its revival Thursday, (tonight), Aug. 9 and end Friday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. nightly. Bro. Missionary conference set Grove Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Uriah in the Eliska community at 503 Scott Road will have the annual conference for youth, men and women Saturday, Aug. 11 beginning with breakfast from 8 until 9 a.m. The prayer walk will begin at 9:15 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. with a program to follow. Midway Baptist homecoming Midway Baptist Church of Dickinson will celebrate homecoming and revival services Sunday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. Rev. Zion #2 Baptist Church will award four $500 scholarships at its Annual Homecoming Service on Aug. 19. Two scholarships will be awarded in the name of the late Bernard Martin and is being sponsored by his family and friends. The other two scholarships are sponsored by Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church.
