Hoven

Bertha G. Hoven, 85, of Jackson died Aug. 6, 2007 at a Mobile hospital.

She was born Aug. 28, 1921. She was a native of Washington County. She was a member of Stave Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Condie Hoven, Jackson; two daughters, Mary Wilson, Betty Horton, both of Jackson; one sister, Sara Lee Hoven, Lucedale, Miss.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

The service was Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Lathan Funeral home with Rev. Earl Hoven Jr. officiating. Burial was in Pinecrest Cemetery in Jackson.
