Keahey donates funds
District 65 State Representative Marc Keahey (D-Grove Hill) presented Clarke County Superintendent Gerald Stephens with a check for $11,000 Monday. The money will be used by school teachers at Grove Hill Elementary, Gillmore Elementary and Coffeeville Elementary to help purchase needed teaching supplies this school year. Both Keahey and Stephens stated that the money will go a long way towards helping the teachers in the classroom.
