Luker

Julia "Sis" Luker, 79, of Camden died Aug. 12, 2007 at her residence.

She was born July 20, 1928 in Delair, N.J. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Thomasville. She was a former member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Delair.

Survivors include four sons, Clinton (Phyllis) Powell, Pensacola, Fla., William Luker Jr., Nauvoo, Ala., Edward Luker, Philadelphia, Penn., Jeff (Cheryl) Luker, Grove Hill; two daughters, Barbara (Jim) Mullan, Berlin, N.J., Gladys (Paul) Luker, Camden; two brothers, Allen (Dotsie) Weber, Pennasauken, N.J., James (Marion) Weber, Denver, N.C.; one sister, Joan Jones, Virginia Beach, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

The service was Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. with Revs. Mark Raughton and Chris Kynard officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

Active pallbearers were Jimmy Mullan Jr., Billy Luker III, Bradley Luker, Paul Luker, Andy Wilkerson and Joe Powell.

Honorary pallbearers were Southern Care Hospice and Helen Franklin.
