Betsy Jo Ott, 73, of Thomasville died Aug. 6, 2007 at her residence.

She was born Oct. 14, 1933 in Magnolia. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Thomasville. She was a former secretary and real estate agent with Pope's Real Estate in Thomasville.

Survivors include her husband, Vester C. Ott, Thomasville; her mother, Emma Alston Parker, Thomasville; one aunt, Ludie Alston Stone, Jackson; a cousin, Cecelia Adams, St. Stephens.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Homer Parker and a sister, Juliet Parker.

The service was Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. with Revs. James Young, Fred Wiley and Charlie Andrews officiating. Burial was in the Magnolia Cemetery. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

Active pallbearers were Jeremy Ogle, Jonathan Ogle, Joseph Ogle, Josh Alford, Mitch Aitken and Todd Horton.

Honorary pallbearers were Terry Ogle, Jerry Ogle, Tony Ogle, Lyn Ott, Jackie Soper, Rusty Gates, Jeff Gibson, Jonathan Adams and Will Adams.
