Hunt

Sylvia Uvette French Hunt, 41, of Jackson died Aug. 2, 2007 at Providence Hospital in Mobile.

She was born Aug. 12, 1965. She was a member of Carlton A.O.H. Church of Carlton where she served as a deaconess and on the mother board.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Hunt, Jackson; one brother, Charles (Peggy) Stewart, Detriot, Mich.; one sister, Dorothy French, Jackson; step-mother, Carolyn French, Jackson; five step-brothers, Richard (Velma) Howard, Alma, Rev. Norman (Sandra) Howard, McIntosh, Kenny Howard, Herman Howard, both of Panama City, Fla., Fredrick (Michelle) Howard, Jackson; one step-sister, Katrina (Jermaine) Hill, Panama City, Fla.; other relatives and friends.

The service was Aug. 8 at the Mt. Olive No. 2 Baptist Church in Jackson with Rev. D.W. Moore and Elder Christopher Smith officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Gillard Cemetery in Carlton. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
