Marks indicted by Clarke County Grand Jury for murder

Norris Geane Marks was indicted by the Clarke County Grand Jury for murder Aug. 15.

According to witnesses Marks and Ernest James Richardson were at Marks' home in Morvin in December of 2006 when the two began to argue. Marks is said to have shot Richardson in the chest with a 12 gauge shotgun.

Richardson died on the way to Tuscaloosa.

One couple was indicted for endangering their children after allegedly using drugs with the children in the area. Apparently traces of the drugs were found in the children's blood work.

Heather Lashann Sutton and Troy Michael Sutton were both indicted on two counts of chemically endangering a child. Heather Sutton was also indicted on theft by deception, second degree.
