Gunter-Jones to wed Sept. 29

Russell Gunter and Johnny and Donna Doggette, all of Thomasville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Hali Mills Gunter, to Robert Allen Jones, son of Wendell and Cindi Covington of Mobile.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Harold and Katharine Gunter and the late Loid Phillips and Molly Phillips, all of Thomasville.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. Lee of New Orleans, La.

Miss Gunter is a 2006 graduate of Clarke Preparatory School. She plans to continue her education with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She is employed at WRPI Contractors in Mobile.

Mr. Jones is a 2003 graduate of Mary Montgomery of Mobile. He is employed at Dockside Services Inc. in Mobile.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Bragg-Mitchell Mansion in Mobile. A reception will follow the ceremony at the mansion. Invitations have been mailed.
