Recent UA grads include three from Clarke County

The University of Alabama awarded some 1,153 degrees during summer commencement held Saturday, Aug. 11 on campus.

With this graduating class, UA will have awarded more than 201,000 degrees since its founding in 1831 as the state's first public university.

The following students were listed as candidates to receive degrees.

From Jackson:

Quentin Jermaine Hunt , Bachelor's Degree;

John Chester Vrocher; Bachelor's Degree.

From Thomasville: Racuel A. Austin , Bachelor's Degree.
