Lady Gators lose in tournament

The Clarke Prep School Lady Gators won one and lost one at the Elite 8 tournament this past Saturday in Mobile.

In the opener CPS beat Lee- Scott 25-23 and 25-23.

Tess Ackerman had six digs, two aces, seven hits and two kills. Corrie Allen had three digs, two aces, nine hits and three kills. Julie Banks had two digs, nine hits and a kill. Harley Horton had six hits and three kills. Rachel Mayton had four hits and three kills.

The Lady Gators lost 19-25 and 13-25 to Kingwood in the next match.

Allen two aces, seven hits and three kills. Horton added four hits and three kills.

CPS host Sumter Thursday.
