Three vehicles in accident
A Thomasville man was injured in a three vehicle accident at the intersection of Hebron Road, Jackson Street and Highway 43 in Grove Hill Thursday, Aug. 30. According to the accident report, Eddie Lee Jones of Thomasville pulled out from Hebron Road, headed east, into the path of Gregory Ryan Gwin, of Tuscaloosa, who was headed north on Highway 43. Jones was driving a 2004 Chevrolet C1500 and Gwin was driving a 2007 Ford F450. Because of the impact, a gallon jug of water from the Hebron artesian well, where Jones had just been, came off Jones' truck and hit the windshield of a 1983 Chevrolet Impala driven by Kristie C. Smith of Grove Hill. Smith was stopped at the intersection of Jackson Street and Highway 43. Jones was transported to Grove Hill Memorial Hospital where he was admitted.
