This month, CCHS students were greeted by four new teachers. Most students remember Kim Stanley from two years ago, and the ninth grade class recognizes Moneek Bryant from last year at Wilson Hall Middle School. The other two new faculty members, Tiffany Jackson and Debbie Miller, are also experienced and excited about embarking on a new year at CCHS.

Kim Stanley has two degrees from Auburn University; a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Math Education, and a Master of Education in Student Development. She is the mother of three sons: Tanner and Logan are 15 and Caleb is 12. She recently married CCHS history teacher and assistant football coach Paul Stanley this summer.

Mrs. Stanley taught math at CCHS during the 2005-2006 school year. She then took a job as campus director at Alabama Southern Community College in Thomasville, before deciding to come back to CCHS.

"It is great to be back," said Stanley. "I love teaching in the classroom. It's my passion."

Moneek Bryant is a Jackson native and resides in Walker Springs with her daughter Emily. She is currently teaching English and special education at CCHS. Last year she taught special education at Wilson Hall Middle School. Ms. Bryant earned her Bachelor of Science in English and Master of Education in English from the University of West Alabama.

"I am thrilled to be here," said Ms. Bryant, "I am blessed to have the opportunity of doing what I love best, and that is teaching."

Tiffany Jackson teaches math at CCHS. Before teaching in Grove Hill, she taught at Fruitdale High School. Mrs. Jackson lives in Jackson with her husband, Anthony, and her three children: Destiny, Domanek and Dakendren. Mrs. Jackson graduated from the University of West Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

"This is a great place and I love it here," said Jackson. "I am excited about what this year has to bring."

Debbie Miller is originally from Mississippi, but recently moved to Jackson.Sheisthemothero f two and a grandmother of a threeyear old granddaughter. Ms. Miller teaches history at CCHS. She comes from an impressive background, earning degrees in History, Political Science, Economics, Government, English and Reading from six different colleges and universities.

Ms. Miller has been teaching for 28 years. She has taught at schools in North Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

"The staff at this school is amazing," said Miller. "Everyone here is extremely nice and helpful." Ms. Miller also stated her love of students and the bonds they make.

These four women are a great addition to the already outstanding faculty at CCHS. The students, faculty and staff welcome the ladies to Clarke County High School!
