Jax Chamber of Commerce to meet tonight

The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual meeting tonight (Thursday, Sept. 13) at 6:30 p.m. at the H. W. Pearce Park Assembly House.

Four new board members will be elected to three-year terms. Chamber members may cast ballots at the meeting or they can submit their ballots to the chamber office.

Nominees include:

• Angie Foreman, appliance sales representative for Alabama Power.

• Michael Sherrod, owner of Sherrod Drawings, offering architectural and design drawings.

• Jodi Walker, managing broker for Wilson Real Estate and Appraisal Service.

• Michael Bedsole, principal of Jackson Intermediate School.

• Debra Etheredge, Jackson branch sales manager of Regions Bank.

• Richard Harvey, detective for the Jackson Police Department and owner of the Smoke Shoppe.

• Tina Pugh, owner and director of Preschoolers Unlimited.

• Gary Beckham, sales representative for Scogin, Inc.
