House Speaker Hammett to visit Grove Hill Sept. 25

State Rep. and Speaker of the House Seth Hammett, D-Andalusia, will visit Grove Hill Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Hammett will be speaking at the Clarke County Courthouse at 3:30 p.m. on a variety of state issues.

Some have suggested that Hammett could be a candidate for governor in 2010 but Hammett has not stated his intentions.

Hammett is coming to Clarke County as the guest of Rep. Marc Keahey, D-Grove Hill.

The public is invited to attend.
