Stutts

Lucy Kate Stutts, 87, of Thomasville died Sept. 2, 2007 at Country Oaks Assisted Living Facility in Thomasville.

She was born Nov. 22, 1919 in Clarke County. She was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church. She was a bookkeeper.

Survivors include two daughters, Julia Austin, Tuscaloosa, Bettye Townsend, Roswell, Ga.; one sister, Minnie Bell Deaton, Thomasville; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

The service was Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. with Rev. H. Grady Goodman officiating. Burial was in the Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

Active pallbearers were Jim Wilson, Fred Wilson, Bruce Wilson, Larry Austin, Phillip Austin and Tom Townsend.

Honorary pallbearers were Joe and Linda Holden, Wanda and David Campbell and the employees of Country Oaks.
