CCHS has cruised to two wins so far, but they must be prepared when they get to Mobile because the Leopards are a fundamentally sound football team. CPS at Fort Dale All the marbles...in the fourth week? That could be the case as CPS and Fort Dale are both unbeaten. Consider that both have already faced the top teams as well. J.U. Blacksher at CHS The Panthers showed improvement this past week. Hopefully that can continue as J.U. Blacksher, 38-0 winners last week, come calling. JA at Escambia Academy The Eagles will take to the road this week in search of their first win. It could come in Canoe as escmabia has struggled so far this season. THS at JHS The Aggies took out some frustrations on Monroe last week. This week they get to host Thomasville in a big region game. The winner does get some breathing room. Excel at LHS Leroy had a tough time with Keith last week and Excel beat So. Choctaw. The Panthers will be a team believing when they get off the bus Friday night. MHS at J.F. Shields
SWHS at Sunshine The Bulldogs made short work of Akron last week. Sunshine has athletes and talent. They must stay focused on this game and not look ahead. THS at JHS The Tigers rebounded well last week and now they get to go on the road to Jackson. This group of Felines is not ready to conceed anything to anyone just yet. Arkansas at Alabama Alabama finally gets a test this season as they host Darren McFadden and the Hogs. A win will tell a lot about the Crimson Tide. Miss. St. at Auburn
Auburn had a tough loss last week against So. Florida. Now MSU comes calling. Maybe they got a needed wake-up call.
