Speaker Hammett to visit next week

State Rep. and Speaker of the House Seth Hammett, D-Andalusia, will visit Grove Hill Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Hammett will be speaking at the Clarke County Courthouse at 3:30 p.m. on a variety of state issues.

Some have suggested that Hammett could be a candidate for governor in 2010 but Hammett has not stated his intentions.

Hammett is coming to Clarke County as the guest of Rep. Marc Keahey, DGrove Hill.

The public is invited to attend.
