Teenager accidently shot at hunting camp
By Kathryn F. Pickard News Reporter

A 16-year-old was accidentally shot Friday night at a hunting camp on County Road 35.

According to Chief Investigator Ron Baggette, with the Clarke County Sheriff's Department, Herbert Frankum and Jerry Bradford were at the camp and got into an argument.

Frankum pulled out a 357 magnum. At that point Bradford's 16- year-old son, James, got out of the truck. When Frankum fired he struck the teenager in the leg.

Bradford was transported to Grove Hill Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.

Frankum was charged with attempted murder.
