Stoudenmier Derek Michael Stoudenmier, 28, of Montevallo died Sept. 21, 2007 at his residence. He was born March 11, 1979 in Montgomery. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Centreville. He had worked as a bank accountant in Montevallo. Survivors include his father, Danny Michael Stoudenmier, Catherine; his mother, Vanessa Anderson Stephens, Grove Hill; one step-brother, Joshua Stephens, Grove Hill; two stepsisters, Serah Stephens, Mobile, Tara Reaves, Camden; two grandmothers, Gladys Voncile Long, Kimbrough, Willie Mary Agee, Arlington; friend and companion, B.J. Jackson, Montevallo. The service was Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville with Rev. Rod Curry officiating. Burial was in the Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill. Active pallbearers were Jon- David Anderson, Eric Agee, Michael Agee, Rob Barr, Teddy Jackson and David Holder.
Honorary pallbearers were Tara Wright and Damesia Crocker.
