Fulton Fire and Rescue gospel singing Saturday

Fulton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Annual Fall Gospel Singing will be Saturday, Oct. 6 in downtown Fulton from 3:30 p.m. until. Local talent includes: Bridgette Shewmake, Darlene Phillips, Donald Pugh, Warren Harrell, Wayne Campbell, Rev. and Scotty, Centurions Quartet, Dixie Disciples, Grateful Heart, Glory Road Quartet and the Good News Quartet. In case of rain the singing will be held in the Fulton School Auditorium. There will be a cake auction and door prizes. Bring a chair.

Coffeeville Fireman's ball Saturday

The Fourth Annual Coffeeville Fireman's Ball will be Saturday, Oct. 6 from 6 p.m. - until at the Coffeeville High School auditorium. Tickets will be $50 per couple and $25 single, also includes dinner and entertainment. It is a semi-formal event. ATRC meeting in Selma Oct. 10

The Alabama-Tombigbee Regional Commission will hold its 37th annual meeting Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the Selma Convention Center in Selma. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. and a seafood dinner catered by "Roussos" of Mobile will be served at 7 p.m. If you would like to make arrangements to attend please contact the ATRC at 1-334-682-4234. CCHS 1982 Class reunion Oct. 12-14

HIV Prevention group meets Oct. 12

The Area 9 HIV Prevention Network Group will have its next meeting Friday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. until noon in the Community Room of the Monroe County Health Department building. Alabama Tale Tellin' Festival in Selma

Tale Tellers will be telling tales Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. each night at the 29th Alabama Tale-Tellin' Festival. Swappin' Ground begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Pickard Auditorium on Washington Street in Selma. Tale Tellers will feature Wanda Johnson, Bil Lepp and The Dill Pickers. Hospital Auxiliary bridge benefit set

The annual Grove Hill Memorial Hospital's Auxiliary Bridge Benefit will be Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Southern Magnolia from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. With the purchase of a $25 ticket, the holder will be eligible to win a $500 gift certificate from The Gift Gallery.

Mott & Brown reunion at Oak Grove Church

Mott and Brown family reunion will be Saturday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in the Chilton community.

W.V. Bedwell reunion to be in Sandflat
