Area Church Announcements Creels Chapel singing Oct. 6 Creels Chapel United Methodist Church will have a singing Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. featuring 2nd Mile plus other local talent. Magnolia 75th anniversary Magnolia Assembly of God Church located at 2166 Allen Road near Grove Hill will celebrate its 75th anniversary Sunday, Oct. 7 at 10:30 a.m. during a special service. Operation Christmas Child Clarke Baptist Association located in Grove Hill will be a drop-off site for Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes Monday, Nov. 12 through Sunday, Nov. 18. Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse that takes gift filled shoe boxes to children in foreign countries. These boxes may be the only gift box this child may ever receive.
