Hair dryer shocks Grove Hill town clerk

Grove Hill Town Clerk Cheryl Hicks was electrocuted by her hair dryer Monday morning.
According to Mayor Lamar Hudson, Hicks was drying her hair when the dryer stopped. She shook the dryer to try to restart it and electricity flew out of it, striking her in the finger.
Her finger was injured and she had chest pains so she was taken to the emergency room and Grove Hill Memorial Hospital where she was kept overnight because of her elevated blood pressure.
