More donations for band uniforms

The Clarke County High School "Royal Band of Blue" recently received two grants from State Senator Pat Lindsey and State Representative Thomas Jackson.

Lewis King, staff member of CCHS, earned $5,000 for the band by Lindsey, and Frieda Allan, dance line sponsor, was granted $10,000 from Jackson. The band will use the well deserved money to purchase uniforms and other materials. A big thanks is in order for Lewis and Mrs. Frieda for all of their hard work for the band and school, and also to Lindsey and Jackson for making this gracious contribution.
