Marshall Joyce Kidd Marshall, 77, of Whatley died Sept. 25, 2007 at the Monroe County Hospital. She was born Jan. 18, 1930. She was a native of Pike County, Kentucky. She was a member of the World Wide Church of God. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Earl Marshall, Gosport; three sons, Dwight D. Marshall, Miramar, Fla., Timothy Layne Marshall, Thomas Lloyd Marshall, both of Owen County, Kentucky; three daughters, Truda Lou Dorton, Bracken County, Kentucky, Brenda Sue Nichols, Walker Springs, Donna Leigh Grimes, Gosport; five brothers, Ted Kidd, Ohio, Paul Lee Kidd, Michigan, Jimmy Fleming, Don Emil Fleming, Robert Earl Fleming, all of Ohio; five sisters, Ferne Baxter, Tennessee, Mabel Phipps, Janevieve Patton, Rose Mary Wyant, Judy Brammer, all of Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 25 greatgrandchildren. The service was Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Grove Hill with Rev. Mitchell B. Jay officiating. Burial was in the Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill.
Active pallbearers were Roger Nichols, Micah Nichols, Paul Grimes, Richard Anderson, Chris Marshall and Ryan Marshall.
