Soccer sign-ups set for Oct. 6 Registration for the 2007 soccer season will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, at Gates Drive Park in front of the concession stand. This is a one-day registration. Parents may register Thursday, Oct. 4 and Friday, Oct 5 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., at the Recreation Department located at 138 Wilson Avenue above the Water Department. To be eligible to participate in the soccer program one must be at least 3 years of age on or before Dec. 31, 2007 and no older than 14 years of age on or before Dec. 31, 2007. There is a $20 registration fee. You will need to bring a birth certificate or proof of age and parental consent.
