In each region, the top four teams at the end of the regular season advance to the first round of the state playoffs. In the AHSAA Region 1 will meet Region 3, while Region 4 faces Region 2. In the AISA, Region 1 meets Region 2. The AISA playoffs begin on Nov. 2 while the AHSAA post-season starts on Nov. 9. The AISA playoffs go three rounds and the AHSAA playoffs are five rounds deep.
