Bridge tournament benefits auxiliary
The annual Grove Hill Memorial Hospital Auxiliary bridge tournament was held Oct. 13 at the Southern Magnolia. Pictured (in top left photo) are (standing) auxiliary member French Downey, hospital administrator Doug Sewell and restaurant owner Sherrie McKinley; (seated, clockwise from right) are Paula Geruty, Adair Griffin, Irma O'Gwynn and Heidi Knapp. There were a good many door prizes donated for the bridge tournament. Pictured (in bottom left photo) with the prizes are auxiliary members Marion Bumpers and Vivian Gilmore. Diane Jones of Jackson (right in the top right photo) was the winner of the tournament. She won a $500 gift certificate from the Gift Gallery. She is pictured with French Downey.
