Sam C. Shields, right, of Coffeeville was honored with a first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award from the Clarke County Cattlemen's Association Saturday night, Feb. 3, 2007, for his longtime support of the organization. Shields has been a sponsor of the organization for decades and has served as a director, officer and president.
