CPS Pee Wee team finishes season

The Clarke Prep Gator Pee Wee football team finished its 2007 season with its fourth straight victory Monday night as they rallied in the fourth quarter to beat Monroe Academy 12-8.

With the win the Gators finish the season with a 4-2-1 record.

This record included wins over Marengo Academy, Sparta Academy and two victories over Monroe Academy. The two losses, by a combined total of eight points, were to Jackson Academy and Cottage Hill and the tie was against Jackson.

The boys worked hard all year long and improved from week to week. The team consisted of sixth graders Jarrette Pope, Luke Horton, Charles Kane, Jacob Allen, Hunter walker, Caleb Tucker, Coleman Wilkerson, Colley Dunagan, Dustin Huggins, B.J. Green and Andrew Stephens. The fifth graders were Dax Dozier, Wil Brasell, Trey Larrimore, Tristan Sims, Zach Kiracofe, Christopher Cox, Robert Green, Ed Bennett, Will Bagley and Hayden Walkerr. The manager was Leah Bagley.
