Granade-Alt set Dec. 29 wedding date

Miss Granade, Mr. Alt
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jackson Granade Jr. of Mobile announce the engagement of their daughter Kayra Lynne Granade, to Kevin Matthew Alt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel K. Alt of Richburg, S.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Granade of Grove Hill and the late Reverend Charles Jackson Granade Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. William K. Smith of Chickasaw.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Norma J. Alt of Richburg, S.C. and the late Adrian L. Alt and Ruth B. Worsham of Waynesville, N.C. and the late Douglas T. Worsham.

Miss Granade is a 1995 graduate of Faith Academy. She is a 1999 graduate of The University of South Alabama, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She also received her Masters Degree in Counseling from USA in 2006. She is currently employed by the Mobile County Public School System as a School Counselor at John Will Elementary.

Mr. Alt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. in 1999 and continued his education in 2005 at Arrhythmia Technologies Institute in Greenville, S.C. He is currently a Clinical Cardiac Device Representative for Medtronic, Inc. in Mobile.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, December 29, 2007 at The Battle House Hotel in downtown Mobile. Rev. Charles R. Granade, brother of the bride, of Vancouver, Wash. will officiate the wedding. The couple will reside in Mobile.
