Baldwin

Helen Ruth Williams Baldwin, 70, of the Winn community of Jackson died Oct. 14, 2007 at Infirmary West in Mobile.

She was born July 26, 1937. She was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Winn. She was a member of the Amies Pride Chapter #590 Order of the Eastern Star. She was retired from the Clarke County Board of Education Transportation Department. She was affectionately known as "Muddear" by her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ike Williams and Genoa Hannon Williams and two children, Beverly Law and Morris Lee Baldwin.

Survivors include her husband, K.T. Baldwin, Jackson; two sons, McNeal Baldwin, Lerone Baldwin, both of Jackson; one daughter, Brenda Denise (Anthony) Lee, Houston, Texas; three brothers, Issac Othello (Ottie) Williams, Daniel (Dorothy) Williams, Willie (Verna) Williams, all of Jackson; five grandchildren; devoted caregiver, Tonia Gildersleeve, Jackson; eight great-grandchildren.

The service was Friday, Oct 19 at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Winn. Andrews Funeral Home of Jackson directed.

The Eastern Star ceremony was performed. Burial was in the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Nephews and great-nephews served as pallbearers. Family and friends served as flower bearers.
