Owens Willie Pearl Owens, 81, of Dickinson died Oct. 18, 2007. She was born Aug. 31, 1926. She had worked as a housekeeper for the Clarke County Courthouse. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Owens; six sons, Arthur Owens, John Owens, Frazier Owens, Henry Owens, George Owens and Joseph Owens Jr.; four sisters, Diane Grayson, Gloria Dumas, Barbara Allen, Willie Vaughn; 35 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Daisy Mae Owens and a son, Oliver Owens.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 26 from 1 until 5 p.m. at Reese Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be Saturday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at Midway Baptist Church in Dickinson with Rev. William Sharp to officiate. Burial will in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home of Thomasville will direct.
