Coffeeville RSVP Club meets

The Coffeeville RSVP met Tuesday, Oct. 2 at the Nutrition Center with 11 present.

Neal Houston called the meeting to order. After the pledge to the flag, Blanche Starks led in prayer.

Bro. Al Dykeman held the devotional taken from John 15. He closed with prayer.

Mayor Faye Cotten gave a program about the town's activities. Some of those are: Firemen's ball, Christmas parade, Ole Timers Reunion, opening of the library and 200th anniversary of Coffeeville in 2008.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

Mrs. Bessie Gibbs won the door prize.

Henry Dunagan closed with prayer and the blessing of the food.

Refreshments were furnished by Aberdeen Orso and Blanche Starks.
