Congratulations, Terry

Terry Norris is Grove Hill's Citizen of the Year and will be honored at a banquet Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Grove Hill United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Norris is very deserving of the recognition by the Grove Hill Civitan Club. She has worked hard to promote the town, focusing on heritage and cultural issues.

She is active in the Grove Hill Arts Council that has put on photography contests, brought authors and other artists to town and pushed for the courthouse square mural that was just recently completed and really brightens the town.

She sees her civic work as a responsibility. "If you are a part of something, then you are responsible for being active and trying to make whatever you are a part of better."

More citizens should be as responsible.

Congratulations, Terry. And thanks for all that you do for Grove Hill.
