Holton

Edgar Louis Holton, 71, of Jackson died Oct. 27, 2007 at an area health facility.

He was born Jan. 19, 1936. He was a native of Woodbind, Ga.

He was a United States Army veteran

who served in

the Cuban Missle Crisis. He was a retired selfemployed mechanic.

Survivors include four sons, William Holton, Jackson, Steven Holton, Stanley Holton, both of Auburndale, Fla., Edward Holton, Brunswick, Ga.; four daughters, Delois Alford, Patricia Alford, Debra Shephard, all of Jackson, Polly Ann Rykland, Brunswick, Ga.; two sisters, Annie Lou St. John, Gency Stapleton, both of Woodbind, Ga.; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

The service was Oct. 30 at 12 noon at the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home. Burial was in the Peniel Cemetery in Jackson.
