Gunter Robert Harold Gunter, 77, of Thomasville died Oct. 23, 2007 at USA Medical Center in Mobile. He was born Oct. 30, 1929 in Selma. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He was a member of Oliver Lodge #334 F&AM in Thomasville. He was retired from Boise Cascade where he worked as a chip mill supervisor. Survivors include his wife, Katharine Gunter, Thomasville; two sons, Russell Gunter, Adam Gunter, both of Thomasville; one sister, Blanche Barefield, Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Paul Gunter, Monroeville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Gunter. A graveside service was Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. in Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville with Rev. Scott Myers officiating. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directed.
