Pecan Grove Apartments to spend $530,000 on units
Grove Hill Town Council approves building permit

The Grove Hill Town Council met Monday, Nov. 5. Mayor Lamar Hudson and Mayor Pro- Tem Levon Hicks were absent. Council member Terry Stifflemire conducted the meeting.

A building permit was approved for additions and repairs at Pecan Grove Apartments on Cobb Street, estimated at $530,000.

Additions include a new play ground, picnic area, dumpster enclosure, new mail center, side walks, meeting room, exercise room and laundry room. The office will also be expanded.

A mobile home permit was approved for Ronald McCants to place a mobile home on Leonard Street.
