Bostrom

Marion Otto Bostrom, 86, of Jackson died Oct. 31, 2007 in a Mobile area hospital.

He was born Aug. 31, 1921. He was a native of Birmingham. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson where he served as deacon, Sunday school teacher trustee and choir member. He was a 1943 graduate of the University of Alabama in Mechanical Engineering. He was a retired assistant plant manager for Vanity Fair Mills.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Kirven Bostrom, Jackson; five daughters, Terri B. (Tom) Henley, Tam B. Horton, all of Jackson, Tena B. (Roy) Hoyle, Laramie, Wy., Tanya B. ( Jackie) Overton, Pelham, Tracey B. (Barry) Nance, Ashville, Ala.; one sister, Evelyn Griffin, Alexander City; 10 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren.

The service was Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Jackson with Rev. Dr. Timothy Huie officiating. Burial was in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.
