Bumpers

Thera Mae Bumpers, 92, of Coffeeville died Nov. 13, 2007 at her residence.

She was born Dec. 2, 1914. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coffeeville. She was a member of the RSVP Club. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, John H. Bumpers, Michael L. Bumpers, Jerry G. Bumpers, all of Coffeeville; two daughters, Lyla Koch, Jackson, Brenda White, Atmore; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Bumpers and a grandson, Jonathan White.

Visitation will be Thursday, (today), Nov. 15 at 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at the First Baptist Church of Coffeeville with Rev. Roscoe Wentworth officiating. Burial will be in the Coffeeville Baptist Church Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson will direct.

Active pallbearers will be Austin Bumpers, Philip Bumpers, Rudy Glenn Koch, Bill White, Scott Johnson, Brian Middleton, Brandon Middleton and Blake Middleton.
