Huckabee

Lloyd McClinton "Mack" Huckabee, 91, of Thomasville died Nov. 4, 2007 at his residence.

He was born Sept. 28, 1916 in Octagon. He attended Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Thomasville. He was a member of Oliver Lodge #334 F & AM, the Order of Eastern Star, Abba Temple Shrine and the VFW Post 5106. He was a retired forester.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Huckabee, Thomasville; three sons, Mike Huckabee, Phillip Huckabee, both of Thomasville, Tony Huckabee, Albany, La.; two daughters, Sharon Smith, Montgomery, Debra Criswell, Fulton; one brother, Winston Huckabee, Sweet Water; one sister, Pat Dixon, Linden; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

The service was Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville with Rev. Chris Giles officiating. Burial was in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water.

Active pallbearers were Jason Huckabee, Patrick Phillips, Wesley McClure, Oliver Cooper, Justin Walker and Phillip Moody.

Honorary pallbearers were Donald Smith, Pete Sheehan, James Morgan, Buddy Boy Deason, Paul Grigg, Tommy Reid and Josh Akridge.
