WHMS football has great season

The Wilson Hall Middle School football team concluded their season on Monday night with a road win over the Jackson Aggies 16-12.

With the win the Bulldogs ended their season with an outstanding record of 5-1. The Bulldogs started the season with a win at home on Sept. 4 against Leroy 22-12. Although they lost the second game, they were able to turn things around and win the last four games of the season.

Included in the wins this year was a win on the road in Thomasville. The Bulldogs took the lead over the Thomasville Tigers with 1:58 left in the game and were able to hold off the Tigers with an interception in the end zone to end the game.

The coaches of the Bulldogs include head coach and offensive coordinator Adam Andrews and defensive coordinator Mike Bettis.
