English students complete leaf project

The students in Mrs. K. Wilson's English class completed a special art project in October. They created pictures using a leaf or leaves as part of their artistic designs. Some of the designs include a kite, a girl's dress, a dog's ear, an arrow, the flame of a candle, a crown, etc. These artistic creations are displayed in the window of The Framery in downtown Jackson.

The class would like to thank Mrs. Sharon Noble for donating the 8 x10 art board for each student to use; they would also like to thank her for volunteering to display their projects in her store window.

The following students participated in the project: Mychella Armstead, Breundia Carstarphen, Melysa Coats, Tammy Curry, Jasmine Dickinson, Joshua Dickinson, Braxton Early, Corneshia Frazier, Jeanna Gilpin, Shavon Howard, Ethan Jackson, Lee Laffitte, Cadeidra Martin, Chelsea Morris, Morgan Paul, Jarmarcus Powell, Kelsey Rogers, Daquinton Taite, Anthony Watkins, Taylor Wiggins, and Diquan Williams.
