Educational Talent Search visits WKRG
Wilson Hall Middle School's eighth grade Educational Talent Search participants recently took a career field trip to WKRG News Center and Clear Radio. The visit consisted of a tour of the news and radio stations, a meeting with meteorologist, John Nodar, and a viewing of a live broadcast of the 12:00 WKRG news. Students were delighted to be on TV with the anchors at the end of the broadcast! Educational Talent Search is sponsored by Alabama Southern Community College and is part of the guidance and counseling program at Wilson Hall Middle School. Students are selected from an application process based on grades, conduct, and desire to attend college.
