Five locals named finalist for back, lineman of year
Clarke County High School's Ottis Jackson, Thomasville High's Katrell Watters, Leroy High's Clint Moseley, Sweet Water's Anthony Landrum and Kaylos Pritchett from Marengo High School are finalists from the local area. Of the group all except Pritchett are on teams still playing in the playoffs. The Alabama Sports Writers Association high school panel chose these finalist from over 175 players nominated by either their coaches or local sports writer. Any player who is a back or lineman finalist is also eligible to win Mr. Football. The winners in each class will be announced at a banquet following the Super Six championship games.
